The Best Journey of Our Lives

I have been in the adoption field for many years. I have known Ellen for about 20, as she had worked with many of my clients. So, when my husband and I decided to add to our family, naturally we called Ellen. 

I know Ellen to have an unprecedented ability to skillfully assess and educate birthparents. At every stage of the process she is a continual source of birthparent and adoptive parent inspiration and support.  She helped us and our birthparents understand the importance of openness and honesty and how this attitude relates to a healthy environment for the children entrusted to us. 

Ellen stresses the value of embarking on an adoption journey with the utmost dignity and respect. With this understanding comes true empowerment for everyone involved. We were completely prepared for any situation and we felt confident enough to turn down situations that were not completely right for us and our family. 

Ellen had a way of pacing us through our process and realigning us if distractions arose. Even in the most emotionally charged situations, Ellen was our perpetual stable force, always reminding us to remain ingenuous.

We have complete faith and assurance that Ellen is the most qualified to help any adoptive parent maneuver through their adoption path. We could not imagine this experience without her assistance and encouragement. It continues to be the best journey of our lives.
